Visita di una delegazione ungherese e dono di un Cristo ligneo del '700

Venerdì 17 dicembre 2010 una Delegazione Ungherese composta dal Vice Presidente del Parlamento europeo e Vescovo della chiesa protestante di Szeged, dal Vescovo della chiesa cattolica romana di Szeged, dal Presidente dell’associazione Szechenyi di Budapest e da Miklos SZUNAI, sono stati presenti in una raccolta e significativa cerimonia che si è svolta nella 'Cappella Ungherese' di Visintini, accolti dal Sindaco di Doberdò del Lago sig. Paolo Visintin e da una delegazione dell’Istituto per gli Incontri culturali Mitteleuropei con in testa Renato Tubaro e da una delegazione dell’Associazione Amici dell’Isonzo guidata dal Presidente Renato Cisilin e dal consigliere Paolo Verdoliva. Presenti anche autorità civili e militari.
La Delegazione Ungherese nell’occasione di incontro ha donato una statua lignea, opera del ‘700, completamente restaurata, rappresentante la figura del Cristo, che già si trovava nella Cappella e che le truppe ungheresi presenti sul fronte del Carso, a seguito della fine della prima guerra mondiale, avevano riportato in patria.
Con la sobria cerimonia tenutasi nel luogo sacro, la statua in tutto il suo splendore, ha ritrovato la sua naturale collocazione nella 'Cappella Ungherese' di Visintini.

Friday, December 17, 2010 a Hungarian delegation composed by the Vice President of the European Parliament, the Bishop of the Protestant church in Szeged, the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church in Szeged, the President of the Association of Budapest Szechenyi and Miklos SZUNAI were present in a pregnant ceremony that took place in the 'Hungarian Chapel' of Visintini, welcomed by the Mayor of Doberdò del Lago Mr. Paolo Visintin a delegation from the Institute for Central European Cultural Meetings led by Renato Tubaro and a delegation led by the President of "Amici dell'Isonzo" Renato Cisilin and a councillor paul Verdoliva. There were also civilian and military authorities.
The Hungarian delegation on the occasion of the meeting donate a wooden statue, a work of '700 completely refurbished, depicting the figure of Christ, who was already in the Chapel and that the Hungarian troops on the front of Karst, at the end of the first world war lead home.
With this sober ceremony in a sacred place the statue in all its glory, has found its natural place in the 'Hungarian Chapel' of Visintini.
